Rayann Silva, M.Ed

Rayann Silva, M.Ed is currently the School Mental Health Training Coordinator at the University of Washington’s School Mental Health Assessment, Research, and Training (SMART) Center. In her current role, she leads systemic change efforts for installing equitable comprehensive social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health systems of support for all. Prior to her current role, she served in one of the largest districts in the state leading a community-wide effort to develop and implement social and emotional learning for both in and out of school time partners. 

Rayann is passionate about the CIS approach to supporting student success through the integrated student supports model—ensuring all 91¹ú²ú’ needs are met, they are wrapped in a community of interconnected safe and supportive adults, and are provided rich opportunities to thrive today and throughout their lives. 

Rayann has lived in Tacoma, Washington for the last 35 years. Rayann aims to balance work and life to ensure she has time for travelling, her family, and fantasy football.
